RF or  ZigBee

PICO 3.1 is available in two versions, in combination: RF and ZigBee. The first solution is based on a 915-RF Tranceiver 848MHz with a range of about 10-15m amplifiable by additional modules that will produce power levels up to 10 mW (maximum allowed in Italy) at a flow rate of about 50 indoors -70mt. The second solution is the classic standard PICO: ZigBee 2.4 GHz with a nominal output power 1mW, amplifiable also up to 10mW.

The substantive differences between the two solutions are in the speed of data transfer and protecting both the Community Network. The ZigBee, slower, ensure the transmission of data in all circumstances, always keeping both the high level of protection from the outside can be guaranteed that the data being transmitted is actually being sent. The RF solution, represents a more commercial, less "solid" in the aspect of security of data transmission and certainly potentially more attacks from outside even if the protocol developed by MB.Tech include a method of encryption float.

The proposed MB.Tech RF solutions in the management of household appliances NOT a safety,  recommends using the version for ZigBee devices and burglar alarm
